About The Position

NovaCare in Carroll and Washington Counties, Maryland is hiring a driven Physical Therapist to serve as a multi-site center manager supporting outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation locations. This role blends patient care with leadership, allowing you to treat patients while guiding and supporting multiple teams. The centers are located in Westminster, Manchester, Hampstead, and Hagerstown, Maryland. NovaCare's outpatient centers offer a diverse range of specialties including General Orthopedics, Dry Needling, Vestibular Rehab, Oncology Rehab (ReVital), Pelvic Health (CoreVia), Sports Medicine, Amputees, Industrial Rehab, Post Offer Employment Testing (POETs), Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs), and Fall Prevention. The company is also open to expanding services based on employee interests and expertise.

Requirements

  • Licensed Physical Therapist
  • At least two years of outpatient orthopedic experience
  • B.A./B.S. degree or higher in physical therapy
  • Physical Therapist license in your state of practice
  • CPR certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in single and multi-site management
  • Passion for specific specialties like aquatics, sports medicine, neuro, pelvic health, concussion care, hand therapy, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Manage operations of at least two therapy centers and assure efficient caseload management and patient scheduling.
  • Implement local market business plan, including company objectives and initiatives.
  • Assist in developing fiscal budgets and strategic plans for assigned centers.
  • Ensure profitability and justify monthly profit and loss statement negative variance for your areas of responsibility.
  • Help develop center-specific marketing/sales plans for traditional referrals.
  • Ensure appropriate productivity and staffing levels and quality of care.
  • Identify open positions and hire clinical staff in conjunction with manager.
  • Conduct staff orientation and training, and conduct annual performance reviews of center staff with specific focus on development plans.
  • Provide developmental opportunities for current staff (professional meetings, college relations' activities and patient care skills development opportunities).
  • Recommend staff for recognition.
  • Conduct routine quality assurance and corporate compliance audits in assigned centers.
