Stella-Jones is seeking a motivated Treating Engineer Helper to support the manufacture, processing, and handling of their high-quality lumber and round stock. In this role, you will work closely with the treatment team to ensure that products meet rigorous specifications. Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily handling, manufacturing, and processing of lumber and round stock.
• Actively assist in changing treatment charges. This includes identifying and inspecting materials for conformance, ensuring binders and cables are secure, and efficiently moving and storing charges.
• Perform the core duties of Inspector, Machine Operator, and general Laborer positions as needed to ensure plant workflow remains steady.
• Operate material handling equipment, assist in loading railroad cars, trucks, and trams, and perform regular inventory counts.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment by performing yard cleanup and assisting with the maintenance of processing systems.
• Play an active role in the Stella-Jones safety program, ensuring all tasks are performed in accordance with their high safety standards.
