About The Position

Mechanics Bank is seeking a Treasury Operations Specialist to support small business and commercial customers with setting up and maintaining Business Online Banking and other Treasury Management products and services. This is an on-site role that works with customers and internal banking staff to process service requests, provide product support and training, and address operational issues. The role involves reviewing applications and request forms, maintaining customer services, applying risk reviews, monitoring incoming requests, and following bank security and audit procedures and industry rules and regulations. The specialist also maintains knowledge of Treasury Services products and systems, participates in user acceptance testing as needed, bills customers, and orders equipment. Travel is 0–10%. The position pays $25.50–$30.00 per hour, with an annual incentive/bonus opportunity of up to 5%.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
General knowledge of Treasury Management products and services and implementation requirements.
General knowledge of Federal and State banking regulations pertaining to Online Banking and ACH Operations.
General knowledge of Business Online Banking and Treasury Management products and services.
Ability to explain processes clearly and understandably.
Problem-solving and problem-resolution skills, including the ability to determine appropriate solutions.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Ability to meet the described physical demands, including occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Three years of experience in a treasury operational role preferred.
Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Implement Treasury Management product and service requests, including system input and callbacks.
Process maintenance requests for existing Business Online Banking and Treasury Management services, including risk reviews for ACH and Remote Deposit Capture customers.
Review Business Online Banking and Treasury Management service requests for authorization and appropriate access to business banking products and services.
Provide support and training to small business and commercial customers on Treasury Management services, including Business Online Banking, Remote Deposit Capture, online ACH, and wire origination.
Support customers by phone, online, and/or email.
Assist Retail, Commercial, and other banking staff with Business Online Banking and Treasury Management product and service features, and report operational issues.
Monitor and manage multiple email inboxes and request databases for incoming requests and communications.
Follow the Bank’s security and audit procedures and applicable industry rules and regulations.
Maintain current knowledge of Mechanics Bank Treasury Services products, services, and systems.
Participate in user acceptance testing for new Treasury Services initiatives as required.
Bill customers for Treasury Management products and services and order equipment as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
