Treasury Management Specialist I
About The Position
South Story Bank & Trust is seeking an experienced and motivated Treasury Management Specialist to support Treasury Management operations at its Huxley, Iowa location. The role delivers high-quality support services, including remote and on-site implementation of Treasury Management solutions, client training, and troubleshooting. It helps support local businesses and economic growth in the communities the Bank serves. The position requires regular onsite attendance and is not eligible for remote work within the first year. The successful candidate is expected to work from the designated office location during normal business hours.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of banking experience.
- General knowledge of NACHA, wire transfers, and check-processing rules and regulations.
- Strong technology skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-focused mindset and ability to work collaboratively.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Additional education or certifications.
- Experience with Treasury Management services, bank operations, or Fiserv Premier.
Responsibilities
- Prepare agreements and setup forms to onboard new Treasury Management clients and services.
- Communicate with clients and internal teams, provide timely updates, address inquiries, and interact professionally by phone and email.
- Support daily operations, including user access, system configurations, and service limit changes.
- Assist business online banking customers with password resets and general online banking questions.
- Work with internal teams, service providers, and clients to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions.
- Provide backup coverage and support departmental initiatives as needed.
- Perform additional responsibilities in alignment with the Bank’s mission, vision, and core values.
