About The Position

South Story Bank & Trust is seeking an experienced and motivated Treasury Management Specialist to support Treasury Management operations from its Huxley, Iowa location. The role delivers high-quality support services, including remote and on-site implementation of Treasury Management solutions, client training, and troubleshooting. The position supports local businesses and the communities the Bank serves. The successful candidate will work onsite during normal business hours. Regular onsite attendance is required, and remote work is not available during the first year.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
3–5 years of banking experience.
General knowledge of NACHA, wire transfers, and check-processing rules and regulations.
Strong technology skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Customer-focused mindset and ability to work collaboratively.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel as needed.

Nice To Haves

Additional education or certifications.
Experience with Treasury Management services, bank operations, or Fiserv Premier.

Responsibilities

Prepare agreements and setup forms to support onboarding of new Treasury Management clients and services.
Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams, provide timely updates, respond to inquiries, and maintain professional phone and email interactions.
Support daily operations, including user access, system configurations, and service limit changes.
Assist business online banking customers with password resets and general online banking questions.
Work with internal teams, service providers, and clients to troubleshoot issues and deliver solutions.
Provide backup coverage and support departmental initiatives as needed.
Perform additional responsibilities in alignment with the Bank’s mission, vision, and core values.
