Traveling Primary Care Provider (NP/PA)
About The Position
WelbeHealth is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide community-based primary care to vulnerable seniors through its value-based PACE program. Providers work as part of a mission-driven interdisciplinary team and care for fewer patients than in a traditional healthcare model, supporting deeper, long-term relationships and comprehensive, holistic care. The role includes home visits and travel throughout WelbeHealth’s California clinics. The regular schedule is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Providers participate in a rotating on-call schedule a few nights or weekends per month, available by phone only. Compensation includes a base salary and bonus, with actual compensation determined by experience and relevant qualifications. The stated compensation range is $193,606.40–$231,192 USD.
Requirements
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- At least two years of experience working with the elderly.
- Prescriptive authority.
- DEA registration.
- Eligible to serve Medicare/Medi-Cal participants.
- Obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter.
- Provide proof of vaccination or a vaccine declination form prior to employment.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and First Aid certification upon hire is preferred.
