About The Position

42 North Dental is seeking a Part-Time Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant to provide clinical support, enhance the efficiency of dental care delivery, and maintain communication between dentists, patients, and administrative staff to ensure a positive patient experience. The Specialty team travels to multiple locations, requiring reliable transportation and a willingness to travel. Mileage reimbursement is provided. This role involves local travel between Arlington, Saugus, Medford, and Belmont.

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation to travel between locations
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Strong verbal skills
• Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state
• Embrace a positive team approach to patient care

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures
• Provide post operative instructions and patient education
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
• Maintain dental supply inventory
• Perform other related job duties as assigned
