About The Position

Cascade Remediation Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Laborer to join their team in Medford, NJ. This role involves performing and supporting ground activities at construction sites, ranging from general to technical tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, customer-focused, and a strong team player. They must also be able to manage heavy workloads, travel extensively, have reliable transportation, and be available as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred.
• CDL license optional.
• Hands-on experience operating small to heavy equipment.
• Solid mechanical aptitude.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid OSHA-40 / HAZWOPER training strongly preferred.
• Keen attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Strong work ethic.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Requires 80% travel.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be available as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic skills should include knowledge of construction activities and methods, mechanical aptitude with how things work, how engines and machinery operate, and how to fix, install, mend, fabricate or conceptualize tasks to be completed.
• Advanced skills are performance necessary in carpentry, concrete, welding/metal fabrication, trailer rigging, tie down equipment, torch cutting, and basic electrical and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support ground activities at construction sites.
• Operate power tools on-site.
• Perform groundwater-sampling duties at various project locations.
• Utilize water treatment systems and applications.
• Work in and around trenches or excavations with or without shielding, sloping, or other methods of below-grade work.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of mechanical systems associated with site remediation.
