The primary function of a Framer 2 is to manufacture round stock product to established specifications in a productive, efficient, and safe manner. During the 90-day probationary period, a Framer 2 will be classified as a Framer 3 during their training phase until proficient. Requirements

  • Ability to inspect and verify quality and classification of round stock to ANSI, ASTM or Corporate standards.
  • Proficiency in operating hand and framing tools to cut, drill, gain, brand, tag, clean and prepare poles for treatment.
  • Ability to document and report material processed.
  • Skill in maintaining tools, equipment, supplies and work area.
  • Ability to assist in the inspection of all round stock products.
  • Capability to assist in the receipt of materials, tallying, identification, records and information.
  • Willingness to assist in the operation of full length and deep incisor as required.
  • Ability to operate pole tag machine to manufacture aluminum tags.
  • Commitment to participate and contribute to the company safety program.
  • Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
