Cranial Technologies is the world leader in researching and treating plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) and is dedicated to pediatric cranial shaping orthoses. With over 300,000 successful baby treatments, they also offer the EarWell® system for non-surgical infant ear correction, boasting over 600,000 successful outcomes. This full-time, nationwide traveling Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist position, based out of Chicago, IL, offers the unique opportunity to practice in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting exclusively with infants and their families across 32 states and growing. The role involves traveling weekly to different Cranial Technologies clinics, working Tuesday through Friday, and returning home for weekends. Travel assignments are provided with at least two weeks' notice. The company covers all travel expenses and provides a per diem. This fast-paced role requires adaptability to new settings, working with new teammates, and managing a caseload of new families each week. Clinicians are responsible for treating infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®, acting as experts in plagiocephaly and misshapen ear conditions, and building strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. While a background in pediatrics is preferred, it is not required due to a formal training program with mentoring.
