Cranial Technologies is the world leader in researching and treating plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) and is dedicated to pediatric cranial shaping orthoses. The company also provides the non-invasive EarWell® treatment for infant ear shapes. This full-time, nationwide traveling position is based out of Houston, TX, offering an opportunity to practice in various Cranial Technologies clinics across the United States. The role focuses on a niche, pediatric clinical outpatient setting exclusively with infants and their families, working outside traditional prosthetics and orthotics. Travel is typically Monday afternoon/evening, with work Tuesday-Friday, and return home Friday afternoon/evening, ensuring weekends are spent at home. Travel assignments are provided at least two weeks in advance. The company seeks candidates located near a major airport for travel convenience. Cranial Technologies covers all travel expenses and provides a per diem. The role involves adapting to fast-paced and new settings weekly, working with different teams, and managing new caseloads of families. Clinicians evaluate and treat infants using the DOC Band® for head shapes and EarWell® for ear shapes, acting as experts in plagiocephaly and misshapen ear conditions, and building strong relationships with families throughout treatment. While a background in pediatrics is preferred, it is not required due to a formal training program with mentoring. The company values employees through training and mentorship, offers direct patient care with minimal paperwork, and has no productivity/patient quotas. Future opportunities in training and mentoring are available within the nationwide company. Travel accommodations and expenses are covered.
