The Traveler Support Coordinator helps travelers identify and coordinate vacation options that account for mobility concerns, dietary preferences, sensory needs, medical equipment, limited walking tolerance, room-location requests, and other personal considerations. The role gathers accurate information, communicates requests to appropriate suppliers, and helps clients make informed choices; it does not provide medical advice or guarantee that every request can be accommodated. The coordinator identifies client needs early and researches suitable options before clients commit to reservations. This includes verifying accessibility features and accommodation procedures, helping clients compare choices, preparing realistic itineraries, and communicating supplier responses and limitations honestly. The position also involves confidential information handling, organized documentation, reminders about forms and deadlines, and continued learning about accessible and inclusive vacation planning. Training and professional resources are provided.
