About The Position

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a Travel RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) for a travel contract position in Littleton, New Hampshire. This is a full-time, temporary contract role for 13 weeks. The position involves providing highly specialized patient care services to various units, coordinating with physicians and other healthcare staff, documenting patient interactions, responding to emergencies, and managing mechanical ventilation. The RRT will ensure all equipment operates properly and is maintained according to specifications.

Requirements

Reside beyond a 50-mile radius of the facility location
2 years or more previous experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services as RRT
Must have own transportation
Graduate of an AMA-Approved School of Respiratory Therapy
Active RRT Certification through The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
BLS Certification from AHA
ACLS Certification from AHSA
PALS Certification from AHSA

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of ResMed AirSense/AirCurve home units
NRP Certification

Responsibilities

Offers highly specialized patient care services to a variety of units
Coordinates with physicians, nurses, allied staff, patients, and family in scheduling and providing treatments
Documents patient interactions
Responds to all codes, rapid response teams, emergencies, and patient transports as required
Performs mechanical ventilation management within specified guidelines, protocols, and physician orders
Assures all equipment operates properly and is maintained according to manufacturer's specifications
