About The Position

Press Brake Operators produce parts and tools from metal using a computer-controlled CNC press brake that makes precision bends, punches, or cuts into material. This position is located in Littleton, New Hampshire and works Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The role reports to the Production Foreman.

Requirements

• A technical degree in a related field or at least three years of comparable manufacturing experience deemed valid by the employer.
• Excellent operator skills.
• Excellent knowledge of measuring devices.
• Ability to understand and identify parts from blueprints or CAD drawings.
• Ability to perform quality work in compliance with required standards, demonstrated through previous employment or experience.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Adjust the machine to control speed, ensure it is set up correctly, and produce quality products.
• Read, follow, and understand blueprints.
• Inspect fabricated parts to ensure they match blueprint specifications.
• Set up each unit correctly.
• Safely operate equipment, machinery, and an overhead crane.
• Meet or exceed production targets as directed by the Production Foreman.
• Keep the work area, machines, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and clear of debris.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by the Production Foreman.
• Follow company safety policies, procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Participate in and successfully complete all required safety training.
• Cross-train as needed.
