About The Position
Trak group is partnering with a growing client in Cincinnati, Ohio, to expand its manufacturing team. The position is described as a contract role operating press brake machinery to bend, form, or straighten metal and other materials according to work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings. The work setting is listed as 100% in-office. Competitive hourly rates are offered, and overtime may be available based on production needs. An immediate start is available.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of machine operations and controls.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machines to produce components to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Perform quality checks and inspect finished products for accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Adjust machine settings to correct machine performance and ensure product quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting as required.
