About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join a metal fabrication team. The operator sets up and operates CNC press brake machines to bend, form, and cut metal sheets and plates according to precise specifications. The role requires attention to detail, knowledge of metal properties, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. The position offers first shift, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., or second shift, Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Second shift includes a 15% shift differential. Employees must be able to train on first shift for two to four weeks. Pay is $22–$27 per hour.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role in a metal fabrication environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Familiarity with CNC machinery and press brake controls.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Good mathematical and measurement skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials if required.
U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend, form, and cut metal sheets and plates.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine specifications and setup requirements.
Adjust machine settings for material type, thickness, and bend angle to meet product specifications.
Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and deadlines.
