About The Position

G&W Products, Inc. is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join its manufacturing team at the Fairfield, Ohio facility. This first-shift position involves setting up and operating press brake machines to form metal products, reading job orders and blueprints, checking finished parts for quality, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of press brake operator experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow job orders and blueprints accurately.
• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, punch, form, shape, or straighten metal plates or sheet metal.
• Use precision measuring tools, such as calipers and protractors, to verify specifications and inspect finished products.
• Maintain and clean machinery before and after each shift.
• Adjust machine settings for speed, material feed, and cut path, and ensure machines are properly set up and producing quality output.
• Test and modify machine speeds or actions according to product specifications using gauges and hand tools.
• Inspect assembled parts to confirm they meet required specifications.
• Follow safety procedures and wear necessary protective equipment.
