About The Position
Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) for a travel contract position in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This is a full-time, temporary contract role for 13 weeks. The position guarantees 36 hours per week, with three 12-hour night shifts. The nurse will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing assessments, providing direct patient care, monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and documenting care activities accurately. Collaboration with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans is essential, as is maintaining compliance with state nursing regulations and facility policies. Shifts are 12 hours, from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am. The schedule includes every other weekend and holiday rotation if required. A limit of 5 days for requested time off (RTO) applies, and block scheduling is not available. The role requires the nurse to be willing to float to other similar units.
Requirements
- Reside beyond a 50-mile radius of the facility location.
- Current Med Surg Nursing experience: 2 years
- Telemetry experience
- Basic Dysrythmia experience
- Willing to float to other similar units
- Covid Vaccination with latest dose date on/after 10/3/23 (Exemptions considered with Provider or Religious Leader statement)
- ASN
- RN License for State of Massachusetts
- BLS Certification from AHA
- ACLS Certification from AHSA
- NIHSS Certification
