About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg for a 13-week travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA. This position involves working nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 36-hour work week. The role requires admitting and assessing patients, administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs and symptoms, operating and tracking medical equipment, running and ordering tests, coordinating care with Physicians and Specialists, and charting patient progress. The unit size ranges from 20 to 34 beds, with a typical patient ratio of 1:6. Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at upload, with no more than 5 days accepted. Specific interview dates/times of availability are required for profile presentation. Med Surg travelers must be willing to float to any MS unit, and block scheduling will not be considered. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.

Requirements

  • 2 years current Medical Surgical experience
  • Telemetry experience required
  • Willingness to float - Required
  • Basic Dysrhythmia course completion STRONGLY REQUIRED
  • Massachusetts RN license - Must be uploaded with profile
  • Active American Heart Association ACLS
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale NIHSS
  • Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment
  • Perm address must be included in profile
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
