About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution, using Registered Nurses to fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system. This Labor & Delivery travel RN assignment is at Mount Carmel St. Ann's in Westerville, Ohio, and is scheduled for 13 weeks, with a start date listed as ASAP. The schedule is three 12-hour night shifts. Nationwide and regional opportunities are available, and nurses may be required to float throughout the hospital, multiple hospital locations, or regions.

The RN practices independently and appropriately within their license, knowledge, experience, and specialty scope. They apply the standard elements of professional practice, remain accountable for delegation and decisions, collaborate with stakeholders on quality and improvement, and adapt to new responsibilities, cultural differences, and competing priorities.

The listed gross weekly rate is $2,520. Part-time employment is specified.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Hold valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
• Have at least two years of recent clinical experience for specialties other than Med Surg, Tele, and PCU; Maternal Services is explicitly included in this group.
• Obtain and maintain credentials required for the specialty area. BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations or regions as needed.
• Apply the standard elements of professional practice: assessment, outcomes identification and solutions, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Practice independently and appropriately within the limits of licensure, knowledge, experience, and specialty area.
• Remain accountable for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement practices and outcomes.
• Adapt to new ideas, cultural differences, additional responsibilities, and competing priorities.
