About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution. Travel Registered Nurses fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system, with nationwide and regional opportunities. The role is for an Emergency Department (ED) nurse and may require floating throughout a hospital, multiple hospital locations, or regions. Nurses work across a variety of practice settings and contribute to compassionate, person-centered care.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
At least two years of recent clinical experience for Emergency Department and other listed specialties outside Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
Maintain credentials required for the specialty area, such as ACLS or TNCC.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Float throughout the hospital, multiple hospital locations, and/or regions as qualified and willing.
Apply the standard elements of professional nursing practice: assess, identify outcomes and solutions, plan, implement, and evaluate.
Act independently and appropriately within the scope of licensure, knowledge, and experience.
Maintain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
