About The Position

FirstChoice, Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution, employs travel Registered Nurses for short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system. This Emergency Department RN position is based at St. Peter’s Hospital and is a 13-week assignment. Travel opportunities may be local, regional, or nationwide. Nurses may be required to float throughout the hospital and across multiple hospital locations or regions. The position offers premium pay and flexible scheduling. The listed gross weekly rate is $2,916, and the stated pay rate is $36.11 per hour before applicable differentials and travel stipend; pay may vary based on experience, skills, education, and location. The start date is ASAP.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
At least two years of recent clinical experience for Emergency Department and other listed specialties outside Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
Maintain credentials required for the specialty area, such as ACLS or TNCC.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations or regions as needed.
Apply the standard elements of professional nursing practice: assess, identify outcomes and solutions, plan, implement, and evaluate.
Practice independently and appropriately within the limits of licensure, knowledge, experience, and specialty scope.
Remain accountable for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes.
Adapt to new and additional responsibilities, embrace new ideas and cultural differences, and manage competing priorities.
