Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU
About The Position
Sentara Princess Anne Hospital is hiring a Travel Registered Nurse for its 16-bed Intensive Care Unit in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The assignment is temporary, full-time, and lasts 14 weeks, with a day shift. The ICU has nurse-to-patient ratios of 2:1 or 3:1 and cares for a variety of patients. It is not a trauma hospital. The unit emphasizes teamwork and has received the Beacon Award-gold. The hospital is a Magnet-designated acute care facility serving southern Virginia Beach and nearby communities. Its services include emergency and critical care, oncology, stroke care, orthopedic and spine care, heart and vascular services, imaging, gynecological and breast care, and family maternity services with a neonatal intensive care unit.
Requirements
- Associate, bachelor's, or master's degree, or a diploma in nursing.
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State nursing license in good standing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification or qualification.
- At least two years of current ICU registered nurse experience.
