About The Position
Registered Nurse – Med Surg travel assignment in Cozad, Nebraska. This is a contract position for several weeks, starting on 08/24/2026. The role guarantees 36 hours per week, with shifts being 3 x 12-hour shifts (07:00–19:00) during the day. The work setting is a hospital environment.
Requirements
- Active RN license (Nebraska licensure or eligibility for endorsement).
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and adapt to a 12-hour shift schedule.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Nice To Haves
- Med-Surg experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to Med Surg patients per established care plans.
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and document findings.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered and per policy.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement plans; educate patients and families.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and accurate charting; ensure quality standards.
- Support discharge planning and transitions of care as needed.
