About The Position

This is a travel Registered Nurse position for a Medical Surgical unit in Atlanta, GA. The role involves providing direct bedside nursing care for high-acuity surgical trauma patients on a med-surg floor. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and IV therapies, responding to clinical changes, documenting in EPIC, participating in nurse handoffs, coordinating care with support staff, ensuring patient safety, managing pain and wounds, supporting post-operative recovery, and assisting with discharge planning and patient/family education.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in med-surg or high-acuity surgical trauma care
BLS required
EPIC EMR experience required
Ability to work night shifts on a 2x3 schedule; 12-hour shifts
Comfortable with high-acuity specialty patients and a 5:1 patient ratio
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities
