About The Position
Registered Nurse - Dialysis in Saint Helena, California. This travel assignment starts on 09/28/2026 for a 13-week term in a short-term acute care hospital setting. Compensation ranges from $2,431 to $2,513 per week, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. The shift is 4x10-hour days, typically 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The unit provides hemodialysis services across all levels of care, including ICU.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California).
- At least two years of recent nursing experience in the field.
- Current BLS (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation or Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS required.
- Ability to work in an acute care setting.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience with unit-based hemodialysis is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for dialysis patients following established standards and the nursing process.
- Monitor and respond to patients undergoing hemodialysis, including assessment data collection and care planning.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with multidisciplinary team.
- Develop and implement care plans, including interventions to attain outcomes and ensure patient safety.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and families; support treatment team with health information and teaching.
