About The Position

Travel Radiology Tech (Diagnostic Radiologic Tech) in Sonora, California, start 09/14/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Earn a weekly pay range of $2,246 to $2,373 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Day shift (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) on a short-term acute care hospital setting. This is a travel assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC, designed to support high-quality imaging services across a hospital workflow.

Requirements

ARRT-R (Radiography) certification
Radiologic Technologist license in California
Fluoroscopy license required within 6 months of hire
current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
state-appropriate radiologic licensure for California (and Hawaii if applicable)
At least two years of recent radiology experience in the field
EPIC experience required
must be able to work in a hospital imaging department and adhere to safety and documentation standards

Responsibilities

Operate x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs as ordered by physicians
Position and instruct patients prior to examinations; adjust exposure factors and equipment to obtain optimal images
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
Prepare examination rooms and maintain sterile technique and equipment readiness
Document exam information and verify studies in the PACS; communicate important findings to the physician as appropriate
Support fluoroscopy-related imaging according to state requirements and facility policy
