About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Radiology Technologist (Diagnostic Radiologic Tech) in York, Maine, lasting 13 weeks. The role involves performing diagnostic radiologic procedures, including conventional X-ray imaging and CT where trained. The position requires flexibility to work across multiple sites within the organization’s Maine network, potentially including day, evening, overnight shifts, and weekend rotation. CT-trained staff are preferred for overnight coverage. The weekly pay range is $1,620–$1,705 with guaranteed 38 hours per week. The start date is 08/31/2026.

Requirements

ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.)
Maine Radiologic Technologist Licensure
BLS Certification
2+ years of solid hospital radiology experience (preferred)
CT imaging capability or CT training (preferred)
Willingness to work across multiple locations with varied shifts, including weekends, as needed

Nice To Haves

CT-trained staff are preferred for overnight coverage.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures as ordered, including conventional X-ray imaging and CT where trained; other modalities (fluoroscopy, C-arm, portable radiology) may be utilized as available
Prepare patients, position them accurately, apply shielding, and ensure patient safety and comfort during exams
Optimize imaging technique to produce high-quality studies while adhering to ALARA principles
Verify patient identity and procedure details; document and process registrations as needed to support walk-in teams
Maintain equipment, document imaging results, and support room turnover and basic clerical tasks when required
Collaborate with radiology team and cross-site staff to ensure timely patient flow and consistent exam quality
