About The Position

Requirements

Active radiologic technologist credential/licensure as applicable to practice location.
Ability to operate x-ray equipment and perform standard diagnostic radiography procedures.
Strong patient communication and positioning skills; ability to instruct patients effectively.
Eligibility to work in the United States and willingness to participate in a travel assignment.
Availability for a rotating, 8-hour shift schedule and a 13-week contract.

Responsibilities

Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as ordered by physicians.
Position and instruct patients prior to examinations; adjust the x-ray equipment.
Determine proper voltage (kVp), current, and exposure time for each radiograph.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff while ensuring diagnostic image quality.
Verify patient information, document procedures, and assist with image labeling and preliminary quality checks.
Collaborate with radiologists and other team members to support timely imaging and accurate reporting.
