About The Position

The Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo provides customer service and helps maintain a clean, organized travel plaza. The role includes assisting customers with purchases, processing payments and handling cash, answering questions, stocking and displaying products, and keeping the checkout and surrounding areas orderly. Cashiers follow company procedures, including those for cash handling, age-restricted sales, and security, and perform other duties assigned by management. Multiple shifts are available, including full-time and part-time schedules.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with purchases in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Operate the cash register, scan items, and accurately process cash, credit/debit card, gift card, and other payments.
• Handle cash and maintain a balanced till, including making correct change.
• Answer customer inquiries about products, services, and store promotions.
• Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and ensure products are properly displayed.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the sales counter, checkout area, and surrounding store environment.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, age-restricted sales, and security.
• Perform other duties assigned by management to support travel plaza operations.
