About The Position

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will provide excellent customer service and efficiently process transactions for fuel, convenience store items, and food service. The role involves handling payments, assisting customers, maintaining the checkout area and store, supporting fueling needs, and working collaboratively with team members. Full-time and part-time schedules are available.

Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be at least 18 years of age due to requirements for selling age-restricted products.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
Operate a cash register and POS system to accurately process sales transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods.
Handle cash responsibly, ensuring accurate change and proper reconciliation at the beginning and end of shifts.
Assist customers with inquiries, locate products, and provide information about promotions or services.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking shelves and rotating merchandise.
Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers with fueling needs as required.
Follow company policies and procedures, including requirements for age-restricted sales such as tobacco, alcohol, and lottery products.
Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to management as needed.
Perform basic cleaning duties within the store and restock merchandise.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
