About The Position

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the face of our convenience store and fuel station, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and accurately processing transactions. You will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for all travelers.

Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a friendly and efficient manner.
Accurately operate a cash register, handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods, and provide correct change.
Scan and bag merchandise, ensuring correct pricing and adherence to company policies.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking shelves and rotating products as needed.
Assist with maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store, including restrooms and fuel pumps.
Answer customer inquiries, provide directions, and offer information about products and services.
Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers with fueling procedures when necessary.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol, lottery tickets).
Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when appropriate.
Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
