Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with purchases, answering questions about products and services.
• Operate point-of-sale equipment, including cash registers, credit card terminals, and lottery machines, to process payments.
• Handle cash and credit/debit card transactions accurately and provide correct change.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, stock shelves, and rotate merchandise as needed.
• Monitor fuel pumps, activate them for customers, and respond to related inquiries.
• Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate them to management when necessary.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including those for age-restricted sales such as tobacco, alcohol, and lottery products.
• Assist with inventory tasks, including receiving deliveries, checking for damaged goods, and performing stock counts.
• Cooperate with team members to support smooth store operations and a positive customer experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager or supervisor.
