About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Evening Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Roxbury Correctional Institution in Hagerstown, MD. This role involves providing holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff. The LPN will respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs and may be assigned to various facilities throughout Maryland based on contract needs, with each assignment restricted to one location.
Requirements
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Maryland.
- Must live 90 miles from facility.
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility.
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
