Travel Eagle Licensed Practical Nurse (82756)
About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team. This role involves providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. The LPN will work under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff, responding to a range of physical and behavioral health needs. Travel LPNs assigned to Illinois can earn up to $2,165/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. This position requires the nurse to live 90+ miles from the facility. Assignments will be restricted to one location per contract. Our travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees with opportunities throughout the country.
Requirements
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Illinois.
- Must live 90+ miles from the facility.
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility.
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
