About The Position

Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Logan Correctional Center in Lincoln, Illinois. Travel LPNs assigned to Illinois can earn up to $2,165/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. This role requires living 90+ miles from the facility. Our travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees with opportunities throughout the country. The Eagle (Travel team) LPN will work at various facilities/locations throughout the state of Illinois, per contract needs, with each assignment restricted to one location. The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Requirements

Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Illinois
Must live 90 miles or more from the correctional facility
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Nice To Haves

Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility
Corrections experience
Previous travel nursing experience

Responsibilities
