About The Position

Travel Direct Support Professionals provide one-on-one support to people with developmental disabilities in their homes and in the community. The role involves traveling between locations and helping people build independence through daily living skills, community participation, and relationship-based support. Assignments are flexible, work is performed independently, and each day may be different.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable personal vehicle with insurance.
• Be comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for documentation.
• Be compassionate, dependable, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Support people in building daily living skills.
• Assist with community outings and activities.
• Provide caregiver relief.
• Encourage independence and social engagement.
• Safely transport people to appointments and activities.
• Complete simple electronic documentation after each shift.
