About The Position

Travel Direct Support Professionals provide one-on-one support to people with developmental disabilities in their homes and in the community. The role involves traveling between locations and offering flexible, relationship-based support while working independently. DSPs help people build independence, participate in their communities, and reach personal goals. Paid training is provided, and no previous experience is required.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable personal vehicle with insurance.
• Be comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for documentation.
• Be compassionate, dependable, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Support people in building daily living skills.
• Assist with community outings and activities.
• Provide caregiver relief.
• Encourage independence and social engagement.
• Safely transport people to appointments and activities.
• Complete simple electronic documentation after each shift.
