About The Position

Travel Direct Support Professionals provide one-on-one support to people with developmental disabilities in their homes and in the community. The role involves flexible assignments and travel between locations, with a focus on meaningful, relationship-based work and helping people build independence. No previous experience is required, and paid training is provided.

The DSP supports daily living skills, community participation, caregiver relief, and personal goals. They also safely transport people to appointments and activities and complete simple electronic documentation after each shift. Assignments vary from day to day.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable personal vehicle with insurance.
• Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for documentation.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional.
• Comfortable traveling between locations and working independently.

Responsibilities
