About The Position

Travel Direct Support Professionals provide one-on-one support to people with developmental disabilities in their homes and in the community. The role involves flexible assignments across locations and independent, relationship-based work that helps people build independence, pursue personal goals, and participate fully in their communities. No previous experience is required, and paid training is provided.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable personal vehicle with insurance.
• Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for documentation.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Support people in building daily living skills.
• Assist with community outings and activities.
• Provide caregiver relief.
• Encourage independence and social engagement.
• Safely transport people to appointments and activities.
• Complete electronic documentation after each shift.
