About The Position
Travel Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide one-on-one support to people with developmental disabilities in their homes and in the community. The role involves flexible assignments and travel between locations, with independent, relationship-based work that helps people build independence, reach personal goals, and participate fully in their communities. Paid training is provided, and no previous experience is required.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable personal vehicle with insurance.
- Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for documentation.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional.
Responsibilities
- Support people in building daily living skills.
- Assist with community outings and activities.
- Provide caregiver relief.
- Encourage independence and social engagement.
- Safely transport people to appointments and activities.
- Complete simple electronic documentation after each shift.
