About The Position
AAA Oregon/Idaho is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Travel Agent to join their travel team in Boise. This role is crucial for promoting travel sales and delivering an exceptional travel experience to members, building on AAA's 100-year legacy in the travel industry. The position is based out of the service center in Boise, Oregon, and is 100% onsite.
Requirements
- Proficient with basic computer knowledge.
- Organized.
- Able to learn new systems.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of experience in a customer service or sales environment (especially in travel) is preferred.
- Understanding of the sales process.
- Understanding the importance of customer service.
- Experience in building and managing relationships.
Responsibilities
- Exhibit exceptional member service while providing advice and recommendations to enhance their travel experience.
- Confirm all travel arrangements.
- Build rapport with members and foster long-lasting travel connections.
- Research, reserve, and finalize domestic and international travel arrangements including cruises, tours, resort packages, and activities.
- Focus on details and thrive in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
