About The Position

The Trauma Outreach Coordinator provides a leadership role in trauma prevention outreach with an internal and external focus utilizing the Trauma Registry to identify and address institutional and community needs.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree required in related field.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Injury Prevention, epidemiology and grant application preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and monitors a comprehensive injury prevention program suited to all ages to meet the needs of patients, families, staff, and the community.
• Collaborates with local, regional, state, and national organizations in the development and implementation of trauma outreach.
• Responsible for the overall coordination, organization, implementation, evaluation and tracking of the Trauma Injury Prevention and Outreach Program Activities.
• Serves on and/or facilitates committees, councils, and task forces as assigned.
• Provides a coordinated care experience for patients/families throughout the continuum of care to ensure that optimal physical, psychological and functional outcomes are met, to manage.
• Evaluates programs and presentations to efficacy, efficiency, quality of presentation and appropriateness of the information including feedback from requesting agencies.
• Assists in performance improvement activities as required.
