Trash Valet
About The Position
Ally Waste is hiring part-time Trash Valets to collect tied trash bags from apartment residents’ doorsteps and transport them to designated community dumpsters. The role helps keep apartment communities clean and running smoothly. Work is performed independently outdoors in all weather conditions, using provided personal protective equipment and a company app to upload photos. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday evenings, starting at 8 p.m. Shifts typically last 1–2 hours per night, around 5–10 hours per week. Pay is $50–$70 per night. Routes may be current or upcoming in the applicant’s area. Ally Waste describes itself as a nationally recognized valet trash and recycling provider serving apartment communities, student housing, and senior living facilities across the country. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proof of auto insurance listing the applicant as a covered driver.
- Reliable transportation; an open-bed pickup truck is required.
- Smartphone.
- Ability to carry up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to walk stairs and remain active for 1–2 hours.
Responsibilities
- Walk the apartment community to collect tied trash bags from residents’ doorsteps.
- Transport collected bags to the designated dumpster area.
- Take and upload photos using the company app.
- Follow safety guidelines and use provided personal protective equipment.
- Work independently outdoors in all weather conditions.
