About The Position
At NewYork-Presbyterian’s Allen Hospital, patient escorts help create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for patients and their families. As a Transporter, you will transport patients to areas throughout the hospital while maintaining a culture of compassion, caring, warmth, and support. You will conduct yourself courteously, respond politely and promptly to patients’ needs and inquiries, build relationships with patients and families, and provide superior customer service while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This part-time position works the evening shift from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, including weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- Customer service experience.
