About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian's housekeeping staff helps create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for patients and their families. The Housekeeping Worker maintains cleanliness and promotes a culture of compassion, caring, warmth, and support in the hospital. The role includes spending time with patients and families, building relationships, delivering superior customer service, and helping ensure their comfort and safety. This is a part-time day-shift position at NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital, 5141 Broadway in Manhattan. The schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., including regular weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and holiday schedules. The listed hourly salary range is $25.89–$27.52.
Requirements
- Ability to handle automatic floor scrubbing machines, floor buffers, and wet and dry vacuums.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- Hotel, restaurant, or retail experience.
- Customer service experience.
