About The Position
The Housekeeping Worker maintains a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment at NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital. The role supports infection control and contributes to a positive experience for patients and their families through compassionate, attentive service. The worker builds relationships with patients and families, goes above and beyond to provide superior customer service, and helps ensure their comfort and safety. This is a part-time evening position working 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Regular schedules include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. The work location is 5141 Broadway at 220th Street in Manhattan, New York.
Requirements
- Ability to handle automatic floor scrubbing machines, floor buffers, and wet and dry vacuums.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- Hotel, restaurant, or retail experience.
- Customer service experience.
