About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring a caregiver to provide non-medical assistance and companionship to senior clients in their homes. The role serves clients in York, Dover, Shrewsbury, and Wrightsville, Pennsylvania, in a one-on-one care environment. The shift is 3 pm to 11 pm. This is a part-time position, with up to full-time hours available depending on flexibility, availability, and demand.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance.
• Must be dependable and display a positive attitude.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors.

Nice To Haves

• One year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA license preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors at home.
• Give medication reminders.
• Run household errands and provide transportation to doctor's appointments.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Provide mobility assistance, including help with walking and transfers.
