About The Position
As a Transporter at Edgewood, you’ll safely deliver residents to appointments and community outings, helping them travel beyond the community. Edgewood Aspen Wind is a 69-bed Assisted Living & Memory Care community. Edgewood Healthcare has provided care and services for seniors since 1992 and operates more than 60 communities across seven Midwest states. Offers of employment are contingent upon passing a background check and drug screen.
Requirements
- Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Pass a background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Passion and drive for helping others.
- Desire to continue learning and improving your skillset.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a transporter/driver is desired.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and lawful transportation to events and appointments.
- Complete vehicle safety checks before transporting residents.
- Report mechanical issues or vehicle damage.
- Follow HIPAA and all other Edgewood policies.
