About The Position
As a Transporter at Edgewood, you’ll be responsible for safely delivering residents to appointments and community outings, helping them travel beyond the community. Edgewood Aspen Wind is a 69-bed Assisted Living & Memory Care community. Edgewood Healthcare has provided care and services for seniors since 1992 and operates more than 60 communities across seven Midwestern states.
Requirements
- Valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Pass a background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Passion and drive for helping others.
- Desire to continue learning and improving your skillset.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a transporter/driver is desired.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and lawful transportation to events and appointments.
- Complete vehicle safety checks before transporting residents.
- Report mechanical issues or vehicle damage.
- Follow HIPAA and all other Edgewood policies.
